Head of Clinic
France Lambert graduated from Liège University in 2002 but then embarked on a 3-year MSc course in Periodontology. She was then awarded a scholarship to extend her knowledge of oral implantology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA, USA. She is currently Associate Professor in dental biomaterials at the University of Liège and co-leader of the Dental Biomaterials Research Unit (d-BRU). In terms of scientific research, she is primarily interested in the various ways of using biomaterials and dental implants. She is currently Senior Clinician in the Department of Periodontology and Oral Surgery at Liège University. France’s clinical work is focused exclusively on implantology, muco-gingival surgery and periodontology. France Lambert is the author of several scientific articles and President of the Belgian Periodontology Society.
Geoffrey Lecloux, Head of Clinic
Geoffrey Lecloux graduated in Dental Medicine at the University of Liège in 1996. After a three year full-time as an assistant Professor, he received the title of Specialist in Oral Rehabilitation (DES). He then specialized in the field of Periodontology and received training in the DU from the University of Paris VII. Back at the University of Liège, he studied implantology (DES) and became a specialist in Periodontology. He is currently Head of Clinic in the Department of Periodontology and Oral Surgery chaired by Prof. Eric Rompen at the University of Liège, Belgium. Among his clinical activities, he is significantly involved in pre- and post- graduate periodontics and implantology. His research topics of interest are implantology and bone regeneration.
Francine Hérion, Head of Clinic
Francine Hérion graduated in Dental Medicine from Liège University in 1991. After working as a full-time assistant for 3 years, she specialised in oral rehabilitation. Francine then went on to study periodontology, obtaining post-graduate diplomas in Periodontology and Implantology from Liège University in 2004 and 2006, respectively. Her current role is Senior Clinician in Professor Rompen’s Periodontology and Dental Surgery Department. Her clinical activity is reserved solely for patients deemed to be “at risk” (risk of haemorrhage, infection or necrosis). She is also involved in ENT consultations within the multidisciplinary oncology sector. She lectures on the practical aspects of scaling and root planning (3rd BAC Dentistry) and on courses focusing on the management of cancer patients and patients undergoing anti-resorptive treatments (denosumab/biphosphonate) (2nd year of MSc course in Dentistry).
